Arrowhead Elementary recently held its annual Flag Day celebration, welcoming the Patriot Guard Riders, who attend the event each year to help honor the nation.

Students from every grade level expressed what it means to be a proud American through drawings, posters or written pieces. Winners were selected from each grade, showcasing their creativity and reflections on patriotism.

A special highlight was the Sign Language Club’s performance. Throughout the year, students learned to sign “America the Beautiful,” and they performed it live alongside the school band during the celebration.

The event also honored veterans and active military members in attendance, who were invited to come forward and receive recognition from the school community.
