First grade students at Nassakeag Elementary charmed audiences with their performance of “Goin’ Buggy,” a delightful musical full of energy, music and an inspiring message.

Students from the classes of Mrs. D’Onofrio, Mrs. Oppenheim, Mrs. Rosner & Mrs. March, and Mrs. Schwartz took part in the production. The show was directed by Mrs. D’Onofrio, Mrs. Oppenheim and Mrs. Rosner.

“Goin’ Buggy” tells the story of determined insects who march to Washington to demand respect, positive attention and equal rights. With catchy songs and colorful characters, the performance entertained families while highlighting important themes of fairness and advocacy.
