Last week, the Three Village Central School District hosted its fourth annual Day to Shine at Ward Melville High School, bringing students from across the district together for a day of athletic fun, creativity and community spirit.

Students of all abilities were welcomed like champions as they ran through a tunnel of cheering high school volunteers, proudly carrying banners representing their schools. The day featured track and field activities such as relays and dashes, with every participant receiving a medal for their efforts.

In addition to the athletic events, students enjoyed lunch, arts and crafts, and a new highlight this year – racing pinewood derby cars built in their technology classes.

This Olympic-style celebration emphasized inclusivity and school pride, uniting the Three Village community in a joyful and empowering experience.
