The annual Day to Shine in brought together students from each of the district’s schools to participate in a day full of athletic events and activities. Students of all abilities were introduced at the Ward Melville High School track as they ran through an inflatable tunnel, representing their school buildings. They participated in track events and field games, including relays and dashes, and received medals for their efforts. The Olympic-style event promoted inclusivity and brought together the entire school community.
