P.J. Gelinas Junior High School student Charley Golub was named the winner in this year’s Suffolk County Water Authority Student Art Challenge. The annual challenge is in recognition of Drinking Water Week, which runs from May 5-11. Kindergarten through eighth grade students were invited to participate and create a design following this year’s theme, “Water Conservation: Why it’s important to save water and how to do it.”

Charley will be recognized at an award ceremony at the SCWA Education Center later this month. Congratulations!
