Earlier this year, students in Ms. Pomponio’s eighth grade family and consumer science classes at Gelinas Junior High School created and designed their own food truck business. They built all aspects of the business including the menu. The food trucks were put on display in the Gelinas library, and students and staff were encouraged to stop by and vote for their favorite. Last week, the winners of the competition shared their recipe for boba tea with their classmates!
