Ninth grade students in Mr. Campbell’s Wood Systems class at Murphy Junior High School are learning how to use the latest addition to the technology laboratory. Students are programming the Epilog laser engraver to etch into materials with incredible accuracy. Using the light energy of a CO2 laser, the material is burned, permanently creating the Murphy woodworking logo on their projects.
