The district has been closely following the news coming out of the Middle East and joins many in shock and horror by the recent events transpiring in Israel and the Gaza Strip. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people who have been killed, injured or being held hostage. With information being shared not only via television news outlets, but online and through social media, individuals of all ages may be highly susceptible to seeing the disturbing images coming from the crisis without proper context to process the information. As such, we encourage all parents and guardians to continue to monitor, limit, or – in some cases - discontinue the access their children have to such material. Children may experience trauma from viewing the images of the attacks.

Three Village has tremendous support services with our counselors, psychologists and social workers. If any parent is concerned for their child, please contact the administration of your child’s school.

As safety and security is our top priority, please be assured that we will continue to adhere to our safety procedures to ensure that our schools are secure.

We hope and pray for peace and an end to the violence in the Middle East and throughout the world.
