Incoming sophomores gathered at Ward Melville High School ahead of the first day of school to reunite with old friends, meet new friends and familiarize themselves with their new building. The class was invited to walk through their schedules and check out their classrooms on Sept. 1. They were guided by student government representatives stationed throughout the halls.

Following the walk-through, students participated in a “Sophomore Social” – a fun-filled event outside of Ward Melville with music, food trucks and lawn games. The gathering was a fun way to get the newest members of the high school excited for the upcoming year.
