Several Three Village Central School District students were awarded scholarships by the Long Island String Festival Association. Congratulations to W.S. Mount Elementary School fifth grader Harry Dong, sixth grader Lewis Wu and Arrowhead Elementary School fifth grader Srisharan Shankaranarayanan.

Each of the students were awarded a $400 study grant to use toward their private instrument lessons. They were selected based on a teacher recommendation and a letter they wrote voicing why they wanted to be considered for the scholarship.
