Throughout March, the Three Village Central School District is celebrating Music in Our Schools Month. The month raises awareness of the importance of music education and provides an opportunity for teachers to display the benefits school music brings to students of all ages.

As part of the celebrations, the Tri-M Music Honor Society at Ward Melville High School holds its annual Music Without Borders program each year. The peer-tutoring program pairs high school students with elementary students from across the district for one-on-one instrument lessons. Younger students are given individualized support and are eager to engage with older students who have more years of experience playing and performing.
