R.C. Murphy Junior High School students in Ms. Barnett, Mr. Amatulle and Mr. Carroll's physical education classes competed in the “Personal Best Fitness Challenge.”

Throughout the late fall and early winter, annual fitness testing is conducted during the physical health and wellness unit. This unit assess and educates all students on speed, agility, muscle strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.

The personal best challenge gave students the option to compete against their peers, showcasing their high achievements in specific fitness tests and grade levels. Teachers were also welcomed to participate. The competition encouraged all students and faculty to practice healthy habits, ensuring lifelong physical health and wellness. Congratulations to all those who volunteered!
