On Friday, Oct. 14, P.J. Gelinas Junior High School will host its annual adolescent issue play. This year’s production is “Addict.”

Marking the play’s 20th year, students will take the stage to highlight a modern-day issue that affects a large number of teenagers. “Addict” is a powerful and descriptive story of teens who deal with alcohol and substance abuse. It is asked that all students who attend the show are accompanied by an adult.

The performance will take place in the school’s auditorium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 14. A $10 donation per family will be accepted as an admission fee.
