In honor of the indelible mark she left on the school community, the R.C. Murphy Junior High School testing center has been renamed in honor of the late Jessica Connors. Ms. Connors, a 2002 graduate of Ward Melville High School, had worked in the district as a teaching assistant since 2008.

“Everyone who speaks about Jessica Connors speaks about her warmth, compassion and kindness. She really, truly was a friend to all,” said Murphy Principal Dr. Brian Biscari.
