As a result of the
caring acts of some of Ward Melville High School’s athletic teams, Three
Village Central School District has been selected to compete in this
year’s Team Up for Community challenge. As such, the district has the
chance to win several different grants. As the awards are distributed
based on community voting on the Team Up site, please visit the link

scroll through all of the other schools and find Three Village. In
order for your vote to count, you must submit an email address and

The
district’s selection into this contest was based on the tremendous
fundraising efforts Ward Melville student-athletes did for the
DezyStrong Foundation. This organization was created by Long Island
native Matt DiStefano, who recently spoke with Ward Melville’s athletes
and coaches about his struggles fighting cancer and his new outlook on
life and decisions. The students worked to pay the mission of the
organization forward as they embraced the “We Get To” mantra and raised
money to support those affected by cancer. For more information about
