Art Takes Shape During Hexagon Project

In honor of their artistic talents, eight Three Village Central School District students were celebrated during the 2019 Hexagon Project. 

The arts program was designed to spread the meaning of interdependence through school- and community-created hexagons. According to the organization, the hexagons feature different themes, which have included social justice, identity, peace and the environment. The overall mission of the project is to show the power of arts in an increasingly interconnected world. 

The Three Village Central School District congratulates this year’s honorees:   

Alissa Bee (ninth grade): “Most Relevant to Interdependence Theme – Ignoring Poverty”
Jean Chung (ninth grade): “Most Relevant to Interdependence Theme – Global Warming”
Nicholas Giordano (seventh grade): “Most Relevant to Interdependence Theme”
Alexa Horan (ninth grade): Honorable Mention
Raymond Lang (seventh grade): “Most Effective All-Over Interpretation”
Olivia Robitsek (seventh grade): Honorable Mention
Riya Sangwan (eighth grade): Honorable Mention
Jacqueline Wu (ninth grade): “Most Creative Expression”
