Earlier this year, P.J. Gelinas Junior High School entered the Follett
Challenge, a program to find and reward schools who are designing 21st
century teaching and learning programs. As part of the competition,
Rafael Bennett and Theo Cook-Weitzman, two seventh grade students,
created a short video about what makes the school’s program unique.

Twenty percent of the total score is based on votes! You can cast one
vote per day January 21 – 25, 2019, so be sure to visit every day
possible!
Thirteen prizes will be awarded. The Grand-Prize winner will win $60,000
and a visit by Newbery medal-winner, Kwame Alexander! The Follett
Challenge Semi-Finalists and People’s Choice (video) winners will be
announced on February 27, 2019, and the Grand-Prize winner will be
announced on April 24, 2019.
