New Teachers Welcomed During Orientation Program
In advance of the official start of the school year, the Three Village Central School District proudly welcomed 20 new teachers this August during a two-day orientation program.
The program, which was facilitated by teacher mentors Dawn Alexander, Brenda Lamiroult and Leanne Perry, consisted of various activities, informational pieces and an introduction to the administration and leadership within the district.
Over the course of the program, each teacher received a copy of the New Teacher Handbook, participated in hands-on technology training, attended an overview on My Learning Plan and learned about district policies and procedures, including APPR. Additionally, they received an overview on the district’s curriculum and instructional practices, were briefed on the services offered through the pupil personal and special education departments, and learned more about the supports offered through the Three Village Mentor Program.
