All Three Village Central School District string players – more than 300 in total – had the chance to participate in the Electrify Your Strings program alongside international recording artist and electric violinist Mark Wood.
During the two-day program, which was sponsored by the district’s music department, Mr. Wood worked directly with the students to design a tailor made rock orchestra program. The workshop culminated in a live performance at Ward Melville High School. 

Electrify Your Strings is a music education phenomenon that introduced students to a whole new world of expressing themselves as musicians, and gave them a lifechanging experience they will never forget.
