Ward Melville High School Gourmet Foods classes had the chance to learn about the restaurant business during a recent visit with Chef John Hesse of That Meetball Place in Patchogue.
 
During the visit, Chef Hesse shared his recipe for making crepes. He showed students the proper technique for producing the batter and asked for student volunteers to demonstrate flipping a crepe. Students then got to try the delicious crepes stuffed with an apple raisin filling.
