Nassakeag Elementary School fourth-graders in Jennifer Betz’s class stepped back in time to showcase historic figures from the Revolutionary War time period in a school Living Wax Museum.

As part of the project, the students selected an individual who made a significant impact during this time frame and studied their biographical information.

On the day of the museum, they dressed up as the individual they studied and pretended to be set in wax until a visitor pushed their activation buttons. Once these buttons were pushed, the students came to life and shared their research speaking in the first-person.
