W.S. Mount Elementary School third-graders put their creativity to the test when they invented a variety of projects using recycled materials.
From paper towel rolls, plastic water bottles, discarded wood and a slew of other materials, the students created such projects as a floatation device, birdhouse, desk organizer and even a Nok Hockey board.

The classes proudly displayed their completed projects in a hallway museum and embarked on a recycled scavenger hunt. During the hunt, the students located projects based on the materials used and described which craft was their favorite and the supplies used to create the piece.
