After learning about ancient Egypt, sixth-grade students in Robyn Weinstein’s class at Nassakeag Elementary School created projects to share with their classmates.

The students used their knowledge about ancient Egypt to design games, books and crossword puzzles that featured key facts about the region, as well as baked Egyptian bread to give their classmates a taste of the culture.

The hands-on project called for the class to deploy their creativity, cooperation and critical thinking skills.
