This year’s event was held on Feb. 20 at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in Manhattan.
“Being able to compete as a high school athlete at the prestigious Millrose Games is a tremendous honor,” said girls track head coach Tom Youngs. “To be able to send two relay teams to represent Ward Melville High School is a testament to the talent and depth of our program. This is a special group of student-athletes, and I am so fortunate and proud to be a part of it. Their focus, dedication and commitment is what makes them so good. From day one, they bought into the process and learned to believe in themselves and each other. Being able to compete alongside Olympic and world champions is an experience that I hope will last a lifetime for them.”
