The New York State Education Department recently commended Ward Melville High School for its academic achievements and designated it a New York State Reward School. NYSED bestowed this award based on high student performance on state assessments, graduation rates and overall academic progress.

“This honor is a well-deserved recognition for our high school,” said Superintendent of Schools Cheryl Pedisich. “On behalf of the Board of Education and administration, I commend the teachers, staff and students at Ward Melville for continuing our district’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence.”
