Will meals be available for children receiving the Free or Reduced Price program?

 

Pre-packaged breakfast and lunch will be available for children of families in need during this difficult time.  We encourage participation of all Three Village students currently eligible for our Free and Reduced Price meal program. Applications are accepted throughout the year, anyone can apply at any time.

 

What is the designated pickup location?

 

Ward Melville High School will be the meal pick up location.  Please use the north entrance and proceed to the rear of the building. Security staff will be present to provide directions.

 

When will the meal distribution begin?

 

Meal distribution will begin on Thursday, March 19 and will consist of breakfast and lunch for Thursday and Friday. Meals can be picked up between the hours of 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.

 

Pick up for the week of March 23 will be on Monday, March 23 and Wednesday, March 25 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Monday pick up will include food for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday’s pick up will be for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

What will be included in the meals?

 

Breakfast will consist of items such as cereal, milk, fruit and yogurt.

 

Lunch will contain a sandwich, fruit, vegetable, and milk.

 

Depending on availability, we may expand to hot food, or frozen meals that can be heated at home.
