Minnesauke Elementary School students and staff helped to mark the 10th anniversary of P.S. I Love You Day this February in a number of colorful ways.

Students created purple paper handprints in the shape of the sign language signal of “I Love You” and inscribed them with meaningful words of advice and encouragement. Individuals also wore and decorated the halls of the school in purple, which is the official color associated with the initiative.

P.S. I Love You Day was created to help bring awareness to the importance of mental health and decrease bullying. It is celebrated on the second Friday in February by hundreds of individuals, all banding together to foster kindness and a welcoming environment.
