Nassakeag Elementary School second-grade classes traveled around the globe as they learned about different traditions and customs as part of their Holidays Around the World activity.

After boarding an imaginary airplane, the classes rotated between classrooms to learn about countries such as Ecuador, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mexico and Norway. Within each classroom, the students created crafts based on something traditional to that region. Each time they completed a task they received a stamp in their “passport” or on their “suitcase.”
