Health Education Teachers Present at State Conference
Three Village Central School District health education teachers Kerry Diana, Christina Driscoll and Stephanie Turano were selected to present at the 82nd Annual New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Conference.
The team of educators presented a workshop entitled, “Interactive Health! Hands-on Activities That Will Engage and Inspire Your Students.” This was the first time the Three Village Central School District was invited to present. More than 75 people across the state attended the session and the room was at maximum capacity. The feedback on the presentation was extremely positive, and the teachers were invited to present at the next Suffolk Zone Conference.
“Our students and staff are so fortunate to have such dedicated professional health educators here in the Three Village Central School District,” said Maureen Kost, secondary coordinating chairperson of health and physical education. “We are so proud of how well they represented the Three Village Central School District, and I am continually in awe of the dedication, passion and effectiveness of the professionals within our health and physical education departments.”
