Project Band-Aid

Minnesauke Elementary School in the Three Village Central School District is involved in a unique and colorful community service project this December. With the help of the school’s student government, the students are conducting a “character band-aid” collection drive for Stony Brook University Hospital. Knowing how a fun, colorful bandage can help bring a smile to the face of a child, the hospital often uses character band-aids, such as Miss Kitty and SpongeBob, when treating patients. The student government members hope that the school’s donations will help the hospital’s patients smile during their recovery process.
